Default Advice on Break In period

Hello,

On Friday I callect my S2000 (waited for the weekend), how should I drive in the break in period ?, any ideas of what type of driving and how much time / km shoud I do it?

Hi congrats!

You should read the FAQ on this site about the break-in period. My advice is not to VTEC till first 1000KM. Be careful with this kind of wheather with the tyres, they're somehwat unforgiven during cold and rainy days (cold is worse than rain). Other than that, drive a lot till first 1000KM. Make sure you shift your gears a lot so the engine does't run for long periods of time at same RPM. Go into the countryside for some nice roads and turns, it's better than highways. Drivecarefull, learn to drive this beast.
