Aftermarket exhaust

I'm going to put an aftermarket exhaust on the car come springtime. I have a vauge memory of reading somewhere that you are supposed to break it in (i e drive the car very gently) for a while when the exhaust is new. Is this correct

If so what are the recommendations? What will happen if you dont? :confused:

Any input appreciated.

Just drive the S normal as you do... Then the longer/harder it gets burned, expect the gains to show up after 500kms. :)

If you want you can drive it gently for the first time... BUT it wont make any difference in my opinion. ;)
