Default Aftermarket exhaust

I'm going to put an aftermarket exhaust on the car come springtime. I have a vauge memory of reading somewhere that you are supposed to break it in (i e drive the car very gently) for a while when the exhaust is new. Is this correct

If so what are the recommendations? What will happen if you dont?

Any input appreciated.

Cheers!

Just drive the S normal as you do... Then the longer/harder it gets burned, expect the gains to show up after 500kms.

If you want you can drive it gently for the first time... BUT it wont make any difference in my opinion.
