Default Anyone else following the Euro-cup 2004 ???

You know i am!
If theres anything i like more than my S2000, Its soccer! I grew up playing it and we lived and breathed it in Portugal (as in any european country )
Im really amazed at how far PORTUGAL is going and playing. Defensively playing very well in my opinion. Still some sloppy passing, and they seem to have lousy or mediocre first-halfs, then play better after the interval. Offensively they need to play more agressively i think, but overall playing much better than they did 2 years ago in the world cup. I cant wait to see the next game on wednesday here.
I cant belive France is out of the running!

Yes he was. He was the best that ever lived, in my opinion. Ever since he died, i havent really watched F1 races very much since his passing.
My main interests are still mainly Soccer (Futebol )
Then cars and Formula one racing
Oh yeah, and of course Women is another interest.

My best friend is Portuguese. He has conceived in Brazil, born in London, lived in Lisboa and Madrid, then the USA, then Lisboa, now the USA. He has a huge house in Belas outside of Lisboa. I went there last week for the Euro and the atmosphere was amazing. Now, I hope I don't receive any death threats, but I was a Spain fan because I lived there for 4 months last year and loved the country. I cheered for Portugal when I was there because they are so passionate. The celebration after they beat Spain was amazing. I will never forget the thousands of people in the streets after winning just a 1st round match! I have since watched every game including the quarter finals.

Holland looks awesome but I was surprised Van Nisteroo.... didn't score, he had some good chances, but he did come through in the penalty kicks. I really like Robben as well, he looks great.

Czech are very strong also with Baros and Nedved so they SHOULD beat Greece but you never know with Greece this tournament.

Portugal are playing very well as a team and playing great defense. Ronaldo is the most fun player to watch for me and it seems as though the coaching is amazing. When he put in Nuno Gomes he scored the winning goal. When he took out Figo and put in Postiga, he scored the tieing goal. Potugal/Holland is going to be an awesome match.

Following Real Madrid started my interest in futbol for me, but this EURO tournament, held in that truly amazing city, has made this american a futbol fan for life.
