Cracked rear plastic window :sadwave:
It was sunny, first time it looked like a relatively drivable top-down temperature, started, unlocked the roof, pressed the button .... BzzzzzzzzzCRACKKKK .......
After more than 100000 km of fine service the rear plastic window of my beloved S2K cracked this afternoon ... a nice obvious deep 30 cm crease at the center bottom part of the Plastic window ....
So time has obviously come to swap top, any advices on where to get good prices on new tops or possibly glass-window to soft top for a 2001 S2K ?
Allready checked the DIY threads and stuff here on S2KI but any good adresses to order a top from in Europe ?

Try www.hardtopguy.com.
From the www.Honda-S2000.be forum I know he ships to Holland too.
You might also want to look into the option of installing a MY2002 frame to go with the glass-window-roof.
On the same forum is a member who has a lot of spare parts from crashed cars. I would ask him if I were you, 'cause the prices on Marktplaats *) are through the roof.
*) Dutch version of Craigslist.

HRF: on marktplaats there is a german dude from Bremen who advertises a lot, but I don't know what kind of prices he wants for parts...
also, try to find EDG on there, he has an S in parts right now, he might have a soft top as well...

Hi guys , thanks much for all the good insights !
It had to happen one day or another, that's the soft top way of life
I'm having a bit of a budget squeeze cause I just moved and furnished my new apartment, but I'm in the process of checking these links and it does seems interesting
Cant bear the sight of that sticky tape in my rear view mirror though
THx for the help !
