Default possible For Sale Turbo'd S2k

Hi people,

due to me emigrating to Australia, i'm looking into the possibility to sell my turbo'd S2k. I'd love to take it with me but the laws in Australia prohibit the import of left hand drive cars
Other option would be to storage the car in Holland for when we come back, if we ever come back.

I think most people know the car by now due to the turbo project, it's pretty cool.
We're actually still fine tuning it.

Send me a PM if you are seriously interested.

I know, I don't like it either.
Probably it's going to be storaged will we get back. There are offers ofcourse but nothing in the area that would make me sell it, yet.

Hey Yuri,

first thought this is a joke for the 1st of April, but you're serious, right?

Will email you with details about visit.

You should consider to advertise it also on the German S2k board at www.s2k.de , even though the German TueV is probably against your Turbo setup!

w0000t?

You are not allowed to import a LHD car to Australia? that's so wrong.. Aussies can "export" their cars over here and we cannot "export" our cars over there?

Are there not other possibilities? I mean getting a temporary visitor permit or so?

Is it not possible for a "tourist" to bring a car to Australia? (without changing the plate number)

You can import it, but aren't allowed to drive it on the road. Only RHD cars are allowed on the road.

So it would become a track car, which I wouldn't use it enough for.

So importing is out of the question.

Guess i'll have a car in Holland for when I come to visit friends, family and the Nurburgring
