TÜV Germany, Tanabe Medalion Touring, K&N filter
Hi all,
Today I tried to register a Dutch honda s2000 in Germany. To register the car firstly I have to get a German MOT or TUV - Hauptuntersuchung. Unfortunately I got rejected on the following aftermarket parts: - K&N FIPK. - Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust. - Braided brakehoses from flexhydraulik.de - The TUV-guy couldn't find a certain number he was looking for. Flexhydraulik answered me they didn't look well. Apparently on the black part (near the fixing bracket) there should be some number printed. Does anyone here have experience with German TUV and the air filter and Tanabe Exhaust above? The last resort seems to drive 1400km to get my old exhaust & air filter in the Netherlands and to swap the parts with originals and test again. Greets, Ruud |
Hi,
there is 1 company in Germany who makes this parts. www.rhd-speedmaster.com/ Contact them. In Germany you can only install parts with a "ABE" or "TUV Gutachten" these are documents with technical information for the TUV ("ABE" information for Police) |
