220whp-Stock AP1-AEM Tuned
We did a test of how much power you can experience for a lightly modded AP1.
Well the test car is a 2001 AP1 with 25,XXX miles on her. It sports an AEM V2 Cold Air Intake, a Burke Test Pipe and an HKS Cat-Back Exhaust. On the stock ECU the car made and average of 206 whp after 3 pulls on the dyno. We pulled the stock ECU and replaced it with the AEM EMS. After a few pulls we had the VTEC engagement point lowered from the factory 5800rpm to 5200 rpms and produced 220whp/147 tq. peak. We also gained the customer a few more miles per gallon in fuel economy as well as a smooth VTEC engagement point.
So you get the best of both worlds, performance and economy from the switchover to the EMS.

wow ... REALLY nice torque line ... looks like about 120lb-ft around 3k rpms!!! Gains gradually and drops minimally up to 9k.
Really impressive with stock intake manifold configuration.
Congratulations.
