Helmets should be free as a loaner but there is no guarantee they will be there and not funkified. Walmart sells DOT helmets for $35 and up if you want your own. I will probably leave St.Pete at 7:00.

They did give time slips tonight There were two S2000's there. A yellow one and a silver w/ all red interior. They were running in the low 15's. I got there early and raced 3 times and actually won all of my races with my Beetle. My best time was a 14.8 @ 96.3 mph, 2.2 - 60' time, 9.2 1/8th mile @ 78 mph. My first kill was a Chevy Colbalt SS, then a Mustang 5 point slow, then a supercharged Focus SVT. I beat the mustang by a few car lengths and the other two by about one car length. Either way a win is a win. I was hoping for better times but traction was not my friend tonight

There were a lot of very loud and very slow Hondas of all varieties. There were a few Evo's and SRT-4's running in the 12's. It was fun and for $10 you can't complain. Maybe next time there will be a better S2000 showing.
