NASA fl sebring event october 3rd and 4th
For me the trick to 7 is not braking too soon and having some speed left to trail brake my turn in and keep momentum. I wanna say it was i went out in the group 3 session to try to set a hot time in the cool air before the rain. The session ended with heavy rain and they shut down the event as soon as I came in.
I'd bet 99% of what you see is that we are much higher in the rev range with the shorter gearing, which makes the car pull quicker. What it also means is you should be on throttle sooner since you're lower in the rev range, so you can be more aggressive with the throttle.
My student in the FoST was using 3rd gear at 7 since the car has such a usable rev band, and it worked really well. He was able to tip into throttle just before the apex, and as it got into boost the car would straighten itself out and take off like a rocket.

Wow, the 2.2l makes a world of difference out of turn 7 -_-

Nick BTW. NASA SE combines 3 and 4 for a lot of the sessions. Its going to be hood packed on track when they do that.
hopefully they see that 1/2 are empty and 3/4 are huge and wont do that.
