Orlando caravan to St. Augustine S2k meeting
For those interested in caravaning up to St. Augustine...
We'll meet at 11am Saturday 2/1 at the McDonalds on Lake Mary Blvd, just east of I-4 (I believe it is exit 98). I will bring radios this time!
I am interested in visiting downtown St. Augustine after the meet. If anyone is interested in joining us, let me know.
My cell in case you are lost or late....407-832-0176.

The 24 Hours starts Feb.1, at 1pm I believe. For those of you coming from points West and South, please be aware of possible heavier than normal traffic on your way to/thru Daytona.
If anyone is interested, the 3 Daytona S's, and maybe Warren also, will be at the Super Walmart just east of the intersection of S.R. 40 and I-95 in Ormond Beach (2 exits north of ISB) from 11:15 to 11:45. (look for the reserved S2000 parking just to the right of the parking lot entrance) This location is better than the ISB Hess station we met at last month since it will avoid race traffic and we will have a straight shot to I-95 north, rather than the u-turn on ISB that broke up our caravan from the get go.
let me know...
ps - I hope I did a decent job leading the group up last month, didn't want to go too fast or slow for anyone, plus the traffic was "lumpy". If we do meet at Ormond for another caravan, anyone is welcome to lead the pack. Or we can rotate, peleton style, a la tour de france
