I was able to get some lift time at my friends place and we remove the stock exhaust last night. The exhaust looks great for 13 years of use, no dents or rust but something did get stuck to it at one time. I have some cleaning to do before any work begins

My son and I cleaned and preped the exhaust yesterday for paint.

I started to mock up the 1 5/8" stainless tubing for the UK mod and found my self needing expert help from my friend Robbie. Getting the angles right and getting a tight coping job was a lot more challenging than I thought

I did the first stage of the paint job and will do the finish coat once the tubing is welded in place.

For the uk mod, shouldn't you try to angle the pipe more toward the center (exit)?

I'm using 1.5/8" diameter tubing most UK mods I have seen use 1" To 1.50". I did put an angle on it but a bit less than what you see out there. I think to much angle and its like having no muffler at all, I'm shooting for a "stock like" sound at idle and some nice exhaust note going through the gears.
