Well now news agencies are stating the the power companies hope to have power back up in 10 hours. Places in the Central Florida region that were without power are back up but now other areas are effected.

Current schools without power are in Orlando, Maitland, and Zellwood.

15-20 minute outtage down here in KW.

Watching CNN at a pizza place, wow.
1 - I love how they used WSVN's footage
2 - CNN claims 4.4M people affected, FPL lady says 600-800K
3 - CNN claims 10hrs until it's restored, FPL lady says 2-3
4 - CNN cuts off FPL lady. They're trying to keep people scared, she's ruining that plan. :rolf:
5 - I could've sworn I saw a jet of some type fly by Turkey Point. weird.

Well FPL is Florida Power and Light and they serve particular areas just as Progress Energy and Teco in South Florida. So the FPL representative maybe only referring to her clients and area and is unable to speak for the other power companies and the entire state.

yep ... some of the prices are listed on the site for the larger commercial units. I think they may have a glut of these models and are pretty flexible with the pricing
