Default Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona

So Jen and I will be attending this for the second year in a row. If you've never gone then I highly suggest making it as its a great road racing experience.

We will be there Thurs - Sunday and will be camping in a designated Mazda corral but I'd love to find out if any of the S2k peeps are planning to attend.

We wont be there in the S but we will be there in our Mazdaspeed Protege and so far it might happen that you might see me doing some parade laps around the track before the event(if it pans out) We got some great perks thanks to some great coordinators on the Mazda forum I'm a member of.

Well, you beat me to the punch! I was thinking it was about time to post up about the Rolex 24 and here you have! There usually is a good group that come for the race.

Anyway, we'll (Marty-sr71bb and I) be there as always, camping trackside at spot #510. It is at the exit of the east horseshoe. We'll be there sometime around lunch on Thursday.

And as always, any s2ki peeps are welcome...

Hey scoot - you bringing the Disaronno?

Stop by and hang out!
Jason

very nice

Our Corral Campsite is in the Yellow SVP area in Nascar turns 1/2 so we'll be close to you all.

We should have plenty of time between all the activities set up for us to stop by and chat

Marty is in eff'n Albuquerque... building soil grinders. He's been staying busy and has had enough destractions that I don't think he even turns his computer on...

He'll be at Daytona, though, Newcastle in hand!

Are you gonna make it this year?

The 4 day pass that gets you just about everywhere is $85. There are other tickets, too, and you can check them out here: Rolex 24

Check out Grass Roots Motorsports, too, because they usually have a special.

Good luck, looks like there will be a bunch of mazdas. Come by the trailer if you get a chance - I know you'll be pretty busy... Maybe Thursday evening after night practice you can sneak over? Anyway, we'll be sure to say 'hi' while we roam the garages.
