Selling my turbo setup
This is just a precurser, the kit will not be off the car until mid-December. I want to sell it localy so I don't have to ship it. Here are the kit details...
Lovefab V1 kit
Garrett GT3082R turbo
Mini-me manifold
3" Downpipe modified to external dump and AEM EGT sensor (included)
Tial 44mm wastegate (6psi spring)
Tial 50mm BOV
2.5" aluminum charge piping
650HP precision intercooler
Smaller battery, no relocation required.
All fittings and hoses
Ceramic coating on manifold, turbine housing and downpipe.
The kit will require the following...
Engine managment (used AEM around $1000)
Injectors ($350 RC 750cc)
Fuel pump (Walbro 255lhp $100)
I'm going to be asking $3500 for the kit, if you are local enough I will install the kit and tune the car. Just FYI for what I'm selling I paid $5100 for from Lovefab. I have been though 4 heatshield designs and this one is rock solid. Here are some pictures.
Again kit will be avalible for Mid-Decemember. Thanks for looking.
Edit:
There are a few things that have been asked that I thought I'd address. The kit was originally purchased back in July 2005. Since that time a new turbo was purchased. Garrett BB turbos require an oil restrictor to keep the pressure low to the bearings. Cody did not send me one and at the time I didn't know one was needed, so the original turbo cooked itself after the bearing seals blew out. I upgraded to the current turbo (from a 71mm wheel to the 82mm wheel) and added the oil restictor. At that time I also added the 2mm headgasket and turned up the boost.
In stock form the kit makes 6psi which is regulated by the wastegate. I don't have exact numbers at 6psi, but they should be around 300hp. Engine managment is a must!!! A piggy back might get you by, but I'm really not comfortable using them. The motor in the S is pretty high strung to begin with
Exaust. This is a tricky one. Originally the downpipe came with a 3" v-band. This has been removed and a 3 bolt flange welded in it's place. The buyer will either have to get a 3bolt welded to the stock cat or a custom piece made. the second option would be to buy my current exhaust which is a full 3" stainless steel back to duel magnaflow muffler. I have both a 3" high flow cat and a 3" test pipe. I'd be willing to work a deal on that, something like $500 +your stock header. I have a a stock exhaust, I just need a header The exhaust cost me $600 to have made and another $250 for the cat, not that I wanted it but in the state of FL no muffler shop can build an exhaust without it. This was also purchased in July of 2005.
