Speed shop recommendations
Hello! By way of introduction my name is Samir.
I am an Ohioan who recently moved to the Tampa Bay area (St. Pete) for work. I am eager to meet folks through the local car community here!
I have a MY03 BB with hardtop to replace (after a long gap) the MY03 GPW I had many years ago and sold (and regretted selling) when I signed up on S2KI.
I was bitten by the autocross bug and later the track day bug several years ago. Now that I've moved, I need a new shop to help with suspension work.
My car is stock aside from brakes and tires. I'm looking at running with NASA Florida this year in DE4/Instructor (I became an instructor with NASA Great Lakes at the end of 2017). I'd like to keep the stock suspension and do an alignment this year, then graduate to coilovers and probably a cage in the off-season. I'd like to start that progression with a good shop to help with the work I can't do myself.
Do y'all have any recommendations on good speed shops for racing applications?

I went to Speed Syndicate a few weeks ago before Sebring. Their alignment was pricey since they used the string method instead of a laser alignment rack. But the car felt great for my first time at Sebring. Chris was very patient in talking to me on the phone and in person to understand what I truly wanted and what I had been feeling with the car.
He definitely knows S2000's, but it did seem like a Bimmer shop in general, and the alignment was double what I've ever even been asked to pay for the job.
I'll report on LHT when I take it there for more work in August. Thanks for the suggestion.
Nice! I'll check them out.
