If you are going to do it, DO IT. 4bang6's motor has gobs of torque, and still remains a good daily driver. That 2.7 would be the way to go if I was taking mine apart.

It was suppose to be a poll but i think my membership expired and it wouldnt let me do a poll. Jeff to answer your question yes i am still going to buds. im off to basic in january and buds after that. Im prob going to be doing this build after buds when i get half of my sign in bonus. dont have to pay for ne thing else so it can just go towards my car. and ya jeff i have deff grown up since i owned my red AP1 doing body kit polls and what not i must say i have learned alot going to this school

I would go with the In-Line Pro 106mm 2.52 liter, Easy build. You will have trouble with CP pistons and a standard block. You will need a sleeved block. I ordered parts from them last week and they said Ya is no longer there.I don't believe he was the owner anyway.
The biggest thing you need to learn is how to cut rings. The rest is not hard.
270 rwhp N/A will not be easy. Especially with the standard bore.
