Yet *Another* Great Customer Service Experience!
Just wanted to share my experience with King Motorsports. I've been doing business with these guys since '91 or '92 when I bought a Mugen header, exhaust, and wing, and a K&N air filter from them for my '87 CRX DX. Every single customer service experience I have had with these guys since then has been great!
Just this morning, I went to order a few little things from them with the idea that I would use a gift certificate I got last year (thanks nvrquit4!). As I am entering the certificate code at checkout, I notice that the certificate expired back on the 28th of February. Now I am not a big fan of gift certificates that expire, but that's a whole different thread in and of itself. Anyway, the certificate clearly states on it the expiration date so I had no one to blame for not ordering something before the date. I decided it couldn't hurt to try and get King to allow me to use the gift certificate so I called their customer service department and got Scott on the phone. I told him that the gift certificate had expired but asked him if they would honor it anyway. He said it wouldn't be a problem at all and was glad to do it. How's that for good customer service?! Most places would have said tough luck, it expired. Too bad, so sad. But not King. Like the subject line says, "Yet *Another* Great Customer Service Experience!"

Craig, what's going on with you? How's the big time music gig treating you?
I am gonna try to get out to some meets as well. Maybe try my hand at Auto-x if Chris has his way.
