Is the warranty fully transferable? I understand the verified purchase date makes the warranty valid for you, but does it void itself upon second sale? I know a lot of computer companies do that... the warranty is specific to the person/machine, not just the machine.
I might be interested... Let me know. John |
Yes, warranty is fully transferable , I traded my macbook pro for this and it hasnt been a problem, AND you still have almost a year to purchase AppleCare which is the extended warranty for another two years. If you are a student you can get AppleCare for 186 I believe. AppleCare is more formal too, you actually register the plan under your name. But dont worry, the standard 1 year warranty is in affect no matter who has it, as long as it is within a year and the purchase date is verified. Thanks for your inquiry!
PS, I like to make sure people have no doubts whatsoever so I type a lot, lol. |
sick laptop i always go to the apple store and dream of owning one, but my dell is working fine at the moment :fingerscrossed:
|
LOL thanks, but you can always sell your dell and buy mine that can cut people! :)

what are the specs on the processor, is it the 1.6 duo core with 2 gigs of ram and the 80 gig hard drive?
|
Yes its a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo (different from core duo) with 4MB of L2 Cache, 2GB of DDR2 RAM at 667MHz, and the 80GB PATA 4200 RPM harddrive. Surprisingly, I get almost 5 hours on battery life using Wi-Fi and the screen turned down to about halfway, which is still very bright because it is an LED backlit screen.

Taking reasonable offers, need to sell to buy stuff for my new desktop! :)
|
is that a spanish keyboard?
|
Yup, I explain what is different on the first post... Just punctuation keys around the enter key pretty much... All the actual letters are in the same place.
