Excerpt from Florida-Florida Selling rules.
"Selling in our local forum is a privilege not a right. The following guidelines are an attempt to give members the convenience of being able to sell locally. These guidelines should help keep the forums efficient and safer for making deals.
1. Only Members can sell. It's only $20! CHECK
2. Please try to keep your for sale items related to the S2000. You can choose to sell other items but please don't turn our forum into "Timmy's Bargain Barn." NOT CHECK
3. Please do not flood our forum with for sale items. We are limiting our members to sell once a month or once in a while. Excessive for sale threads will be deleted. CHECK
4. Feel free to list several items in one thread (especially if it S related items) this allows you to post several items and keeps the clutter down in our forum. CHECK
5. Selling and buying is AT YOUR OWN RISK. We can keep a seller from listing in our forum (after they have proven themselves unworthy of the privilege) but little else. Please report any bad deals going down on either side (selling or buying) and we will do our best to prevent future attempts but we can not be the "detectives" or enforcers of behavior. CHECK
6. "Bumping" for the sake of bumping will be discouraged. Maybe nobody is interested in your "My Little Pony" sheet set. Let your threads die of natural causes and sell your items on ebay if nobody is interested here. CHECK
Like any sale transaction, you the seller or buyer have the responsibility to gather your own information (hopefully before the transaction) and determine if the deal is sound or not. Your recourse is up to you. Make sure you have all contact info and deal information before you move forward with the transaction.
Please read the guidelines in the main For Sale Forum:
As a perspective CO of this fine forum I feel it is my obligation, my duty and my prerogative to point out the rules for anybody that doesn't comply. This means you Bill. Thanks for opening this thread back up.
