AP2 front spoiler refinish.

Just curious if anyone has ever had their front lip refinished and the approximate cost.

I have a few scratches on my current one. Not sure if it would make more sense to have it repainted or sell my current one and just get a new one from H and A...

...and be a little more careful with the low curbs :D

Also, Anyone know of a place that sells OEM cheaper than H and A ($359 painted)?

Thanks in advance.

Stop by Gregs and get an estimate. We now get 20% off their overall cost. Thinking it will be under $200

Best price I've found is HondaAutomotiveparts.com which has the front lip spoiler for about $370 shipped where HandAAccessories sells it for about $400 shipped.

Depending on how bad your current one is, I think buying a new one and selling your old one is the best way to go. In my experience, OEM paint is the best paint job you can get. Repainting your current one will mean they will have to repair any damage or scratches and the paint job won't be nearly as good as the original paint on there... trust me (from experience). You'll get chips A LOT easier. As well, Greg's does an 'ok' job at repaint body parts... they shine better at painting new parts.

Either way, I'd say sell your old one for about $200, buy a new one for $370, and for $170, you'll have a brand new spoiler painted from Honda.

:iagree:

i didn't even think about the chipping. I had an aftermarket lip painted for a Civic Si a few years ago and the wear and tear that area recieved from rocks etc. was too much for aftermarket paint to handle.

Thanks for the advice!

It will fit, i had a whole bumper in mine. Put one end on the passenger floor, the other by the rear window.
