Bought a new thicker leather flat bottom steering wheel, having a hard time finding a shop that will install it, any suggestions?

Air bag remains, just a remove, unplug, replug and replace.

It is a fairly easy process if you have the tools, no special tools are needed either. Hardest part is getting the wheel lined up on the first try.

One major caveat. Before you attempt to remove the steering wheel, disconnect the negative battery terminal and let it rest for a couple of hours. The last thing you need is any remaining power going to the air bag. Good luck.
