Doesn't seem to be very active.. what do we need to boost the enthusiasm.

 

Maybe you could make this the "Missouri" forum instead of "Gateway." Gateway is a good name, but since the name is not attracting Missouri people, I think maybe if you changed the title into something simpler that people who live here will be attracted to, got some Missouri S2000ers in here, more traffic and a CO; I think that should do it.

 

from what i've seen there isnt many s2k's around st. louis (where i live) and i thnk only two or three guys from stl are on this site....and besides st. louis and kansas city, there really isnt much in missouri.

 

Since there are no members I don't want to change a community name without input. Cases problems you know

i'd want it changed to missouri/midwest, but i dont have an s2k (yet) so i probabgly dont have any say in it.

 

Watch the KC board, there's been talk of an Ozarks run this Spring that may drive interest in St. Louis. There used to be some guys from Cape Girardeau when I lived there that were active three years ago on the forum. Maybe they moved, sold their cars?

 

There is a post in another thread from tapout2000, indicating that he volunteered to be the community organizer and never got a response. If he is the fellow I bought tires and wheels from (and I think he is), he's a nice young man with a lot of enthusiasm and would probably do an excellent job. Suggest you contact him.

I rather like the Gateway name, and there is a Kansas City chapter whose members could be a little annoyed if an attempt was made to preempt "Missouri." Of course, since people in K.C. tend to pronounce the name of our home state improperly, perhaps we shouldn't care what they think.
