jcoates1, the yellow is mine. Last time we had three yellows. One yellow was from South Carolina (didn't come this time), the other yellow was Dennis' (RIP).

When did you get yours? What's your VIN?

jcoates1 IS John Coates from South Carolina (Anderson) with the other yellow S2000 from our Feb. meet. I wonder what happended to Mike and his red one?

John, I smashed my yellow one (you should be able to see the pics of my wreck in the "Events around Atlanta" thread); so, that made Dave very special this time in March. I can't find a Yellow CL Type-S anywhere; why didn't they make a yellow one? I might have to wait for another yellow S2000, If they are coming out with the glass rear window. Our next meeting is on April 22nd (the fourth Sunday), because of the Easter Sunday on April 15th (the third Sunday).

Dennis, Sorry to see the pics of your car!! Maybe the repairs will come out better than expected. If not, there's a yellow s2k in the showroom here in Anderson.
You'll love the CL type S. Traded mine for the s2k. They don't make yellow but the gold color is, well, interesting. Check on the insurance before you buy! My s2k is actually $ 10 per year cheaper than the CL.
Sorry to say that I won't be able to meet on the 22nd. I'll be in Germany then. I wish I could take the car with me!

Jcoates1, sorry I didn't pick up on the fact that you were the other Yellow. Too bad you'll be in Germany during the time of the next meet. Maybe we'll see you in Asheville.

jcoates1, it's "Totaled!" Just got myself a 91 CRX HF "cheap"; may be I'll build myself a Hybrid later? (160-200Hp CRX with 1.01g weights only 2000lbs?) The insurance is also only $240 for the whole year.
I think the insurance company is paying me around $37,000+ for the S2000. pretty good? The depreciation is only $370 on the car; with $500 deductible and depreciation of my alarm system, stongard and airmar paint treatment. That's what they come up with. Of course they'll pay off the loan, and what ever is left will go in the bank until I see something I like in the future, or waiting for the GLASS rear window S2000 to arrive?

Where in Atlanta does everyone normally meet? (Sorry if a dumb question, I am new to the forum)

My name is Dennis. I had started this club in Jan. but crashed and totaled my Yellow one in Feb. 25th (right after our second great meet). Our regular club meeting is held on every THRID SUNDAY of each month, but this coming third Sunday is Easter Sunday, so. we moved to April 22nd (4th Sunday for this month only)

We have been meeting at Cafe Sunflower in Sandy Spring (which is closed on Sunday and just happend to be owned by my sister) We will still be meeting there in April; but I'm not sure if I'm still interested in the club? Not having my S2000 every time that I attend the meeting makes me want to get one again! But I'm not sure if my back is ready for it or not.

Anyway, the meeting is still on April 22nd at Cafe Sunflower. We'll post that soon in here again to remind everyone. (I can't remember the exact street address right now.) Hey, did you guys check out in the Photo Gallery section of the "Virginia Dyno Day"? there are pictures of various air filters (JR filter gianed few horse power!)
