Hey guys i need help with an issue i had today with my turboed S. Today i took my car out after a oil change and changed gaskets on my Mani and Turbo and ran the car when all of the sudden when i hit it on 2nd and boosted i backfired a few times and lost boost completley. I drove it back home and checked under the engine and saw no problems with hoses, sensors, turbo, piping, nothing seemed loose. I took the car again for a ride and when i hit it there is no boost and all I hear is a whistling noise from turbo and my BOV doesnt even make a sound anymore and whats so funny is that car is running fine like it has no turbo at all with no vtec either. WTF! So tomorrow i will check for anything that can cause problem and hoping i dont have a blown turbo or what not. But if anybody ever heard anything related to this issue please let me know.

you may have just blown a coupling?? im not sure id have to see it and hear it to make a better determination. where are you at??

 

Never mind guys i found problem, Ive talked to Mase and explained my issue and he said I must of blew off a charge pipe and he was right. I looked under where it connected to intercooler and there it was. So i reconnected and tightened all clamps to make sure and she ran like a rocket ship i was happy!!!!!

 

lol i kinda figured lol... glad to hear that youre up and running again!!! now bring it down here so i can see what it feels like since ill be tuned come august lol...

oh ok thats not so bad. ill actually be going through there on monday to pick up my 280z.
