Default Tuning Shops In or Around Savannah

I am looking at purchasing another S2000 that is located in Savannah, GA but want to have it checked 100% prior to purchase. The vehicle is turboed so I want the whole nine yards done (leakdown, compression, mechanical, etc.). Any good shops you guys would recommend. The owner recommended Southern Customs but their phone number is out of service.

Thanking you in advance

southern car customs is out of business for the time being. that was a friend of mines shop. you can try any of the trans shops in the area or asian automotive if all you want is the normal things checked. other than that i would say take it to a speed shop near by to have it checked.

a few of us on the boards know this guy. my first reaction is make sure you have that thing looked over. the last we heard from jon was that he was having coolant leaks on his head. im sure hes had them fixed since then but i wouldnt buy blindly.

i second the notion that you probably dont want carter racing/asian auto to do anything with that car. they dont have a very solid rep around here. my suggestion would be to have jon take the car to mase, have all the tests run and get the tune sorted before paying anything. either way that car is extremely sick and crazy fast. ive seen it in action and its rediculous lol.

Thanks Spa. Never purchase blindly. I will have the car sorted out prior to purchase if I end up that route.

Oh not, the first time I am here. Had a 06 Yellow and currently have an 06 Red. These cars are addictive!
