What is the weather like in May? I imagine it is a little warmer but is it wetter?

I wouldn't say the chances are any greater than what it does in April.

I don't exactly remember which ones have better porches... The big cabins all up on Shuckstack are all the same. The ones on the other side of the campground are, more or less, too. There are a few weird ones in the middle (like near the church) that are a little different... But the only ones I can think of that have really awesome porches are either the ones the people who live there use or the cabins up really close to the lodge. The ones near the lodge are all the wrong size for us...

Maybe if I call they can give me some pointers? They are usually super nice on the phone...

The one that Chip & I stayed in twice has a good porch (for us cigar smokers) there's no view though (these are by the chapel you turn on to the same gravel road). We're the only ones who need cover if it rains so I think the ones waaaay up top where we've stayed before are fine iirc.

I'd imagine those up high at the top of fontana village are cheaper than that super fancy one that looks more like a ski lodge cabin... the one that had a back porch as well.

Yeah but that porch was super slanted.

Bobbie's cousin opened a coffee shop up in Erie called Ember+Forge. We came home from Christmas with a pound of fresh-roasted beans that they use for their coffee. We started brewing it yesterday... OMG this stuff is good! Makes Jeffy sad that it is so far away!
