I saw a text on my watch while in the shower this morning. "I'm wondering if you still need my services." - Chris

I was like I don't remember asking anything of Chris... then I realized it was the person who comes to mow our lawn.

Jim tells me that the Miata does, in fact, have the limited-slip diff.

Now I am doubly glad I didn't take the other offer. The diff all by itself is worth more than what that person offered me for the whole car.

It reminds me of when we had a mutual friend at the time and I was texting him really early (for me) in the morning about Slow's wedding and his reply was "I'm sorry man, but I really didn't know you that well at the time".

...

I was texting Chris.

The lesson is: don't text or reply to texts until you are awake

The mind sees what it wants to see and then you hit "reply"

That was 11 years ago, Still funny. I'm also not mowing your grass. Will take forever to drive the mower to Franklin.

11 years ago that makes me sad & happy at the same time. Sad that time keeps slipping away, happy that we still know each other.
