Haha.. if it's primarily a track car it makes sense I guess. Although.. I went for a ride along last fall with Dan who has an AP1 with some kind of single exhaust. It was loud as FAWK. I mean my ears were f@#king ringing when vtec kicked in and it screamed to redline. Gotta admit it sounded pretty cool that last 8-9k, but was seriously deafeningly loud.

damnit, i replied to a closed thread lol

anyways..

I ended up getting the 12 inch Alpine Type S sub. I seem to favor the Alpine Type S sub. I have one in the charger too.

It's the 500 RMS and i have the matching Alpine 500rms Mono Amp and an Alpine CD player since Jeffro said he recommended the Alpine HU.

I totally love it. I have to keep it kinda low because the car just rattles if i turn it up too much.

I just bought 2 sheets of 2ftx4ft dynamat style material. one for the S, one for the charger. Go figure, the charger rattles a lot more...

What box did you go with? I'm thinking about upgrading my 10" PPI Pro Flat (since it's probably 20 years old ).
