ah, I don't have that issue, I'm overwhelmed with work (especially when the two people who were unofficially told they were getting axed are basically not doing work any longer); my problem is that after all the shady business practices going on here, I am not willing to bust my ass doing 60-80 hours of work weekly just so I can cover for the loss of these people (including my own work, which was already at 60+ hours/week)

I'd probably get the Sigma because of the f2.0. That is great for low light. The Canon has image stabilization but I don't think that works as well as a low f-stop. Plus the Sigma is a little cheaper.
