Yea... That is what drove me away. I realized I was pissing off everyone I knew. You have to eat, sleep, breath, and live that shit if you want to get anywhere with it. Honestly, I have no idea how anyone ever made any money off of it. I think the real big wigs make their money by selling the starter kits.
thats what i told my roommate. the first thing this guy did was pull out all these books at an Eat 'n Puke where we met at. He never really told me how to do anything, or the products i would be selling. all i saw were sport drinks and crap like that. the guy told me to hold on to the books for a while. so i did. i got tired of looking at them so i threw them away at a sheetz gas station. stupid me, i gave the guy my phone number and so he started calling me asking for his books back. And how those books were million dollar opportunities and i was not giving others the chance to take advantage of them. yeah. what a joke.

The slogan "Be your own best customer." is forever burned on my psyche. I was pedaling it hard when I was in college.

My Dad sucked me in... He was always a target for that sort of ish. The man was very smart but, for some reason, he was very susceptible to telemarketing, infomercials, etc... He loved it! It drove me nutz.

Depending on your experience level though. After a long enough time a second page is necessary and acceptable.

Yup...

I remember one time after I moved to DC a "buddy" of mine talked me into go to a job seminar. I needed work at the time so I was all like "what the hell, why not?" Whuddyaknow... It was Amway.

I walked into the seminar and immediately got this feeling like I'd been there before. It took about five minutes before I really figured it out. I stayed as not to be rude but as soon as I had my chance, I split.

That is actually one of the things that embarrasses me about my dad. he goes off on those people so bad that they hang up on him. and its not that he's being mean or anything, he just catches them off gaurd and they dont know what to do. he enjoys talking to these people. sometimes up to an hour.
