What would be stopping you? Unless you run race tires, the car isn't too stressed out there. Our longest runs are about 40 seconds and you aren't full throttle for the whole time so as long as your cooling system is functioning, it'll be fine. We have a tech inspection but that's pretty lenient for the most part. Make sure your battery is tied down, no loose objects in car, wheels are secure. Those are the major things they will look at.

You'd have to do something very wrong to roll an S2000 out in the lot we run on, that and I haven't observed any tech inspectors doing the broom stick test. I wouldn't worry about it. There are people who have raced in S2000s at our events who looked like Donkey Kong with half their heads poking up past the windshield.

come out! there is a rookie class which will put you up against others new racers. instructors are available if needed. i wish this was available my rookie season
