Thanks. Funny that's exactly the way I described it to other riders. It is FAST as hell!! I huge step up from what I was riding, gonna take some time to get used to just how good it is. Looking forward to the journey and sweat getting there .

Bit the dust in a roundabout on Labor day. Split my chin open, lots of bruising and a few scrapes. Bike is okay, but I required 15 stitches. I was bike on the bike the next day.

so im curious, seeing as I don't know where most of you are from, where do you like to ride? if mtb, what parks, trails, etc. if road bike, what routes, cities, etc.
personally, im from Bergen County, NJ, right outside of NYC so there aren't a ton of trails in the immediate vicinity. however im a 30 min drive from numerous parks, but have only been to Cheesequake Park in Central NJ, and since I don't have a riding partner at the moment (it is taking my friends quite a long time to get around to getting a bike) I have been hesitant to go out seeing as I don't want to fall (again) but harder and brake something and get stuck out in the wilderness with nobody knowing where I am

Yessir. It hurt worse over the following days than it did when it actually happened. The only drugs I used was a bit of ibuprofen. I discovered the plastic cover for the shifter on the right side is damaged (near the hood), so I will have to get that fixed - but that is the only damage to the bike. My wife took the stitches out last night (she is a former ICU nurse, now CRNA), and I am good!
NASTY bruises on my legs still hanging out.
HAHAHAHA! I can oblige...
