I went with and cheered my best friend for her first half IM at Muncie. Folks there stated its one of the better ones to do because it's pretty flat and the lake is calm.

I only run, so any IM is beyond me

Thanks. Will look into it. Probably won't commit to any races for 2016 until January. My offseason just started...so I'm just going to eat, drink and lift.
