S2K Runners / Joggers
Just wondering if we have many people that do a bit of running / jogging?
If so what kind of music do you listen to if you do listen to any?
Might be a good way to compile a playlist for us all...

Running without music is probably better but hard to do for some of us. Music is my motivation when I run, it keeps me going.
However when you run with a buddy you don't need the music at all. You can make chit chat instead and pay closer attention to your surroundings.
As for the music I listen to when running it's all techno. Trance/hard dance for the most part. I like listening to mixes that last as long as my run. Just start the music and go!

If your on your own running without music I find it can be very easy to stop as your just listening to the sound of your breathing and feet banging on the pavement.
Running with somebody is much better as you say coz you are both pushing each other on and finding that that pace also increases a bit...

Try to run someone that is faster than you or at least your pace. I don't like chatting while running. My take is, if you can complete sentences, you're running too slow. Two/three words on one breath is fine.

I have a 160 song playlist for working out, and riding my bikes. I can contribute some favorites if desired.

Maybe it's because of where I run and bike that I really prefer to know if a car is approaching or not. Living in the city kind of dictates this.
