Thumbs down AJR's New T1R Exhaust

Hey guys, I just put on a prototype 70mm T1R exhaust.
My first impression's were WOW~! (I jumped from a 63mm T1R to the 70mm T1R)
Down low from 1000rpm - 3000rpm there wasn't that big of a difference, but when 3500rpm hits, it pulls MAD!!
I felt a BIG gain from 4000rpm all the way to redline over the 63mm T1R. It's for sure louder than the 63mm and is almost deafining at redline.

Here's the spec list on my S right now:
Mugen Intake
Mugen Header
T1R 63mm Test Pipe
T1R 70mm Catback Exhaust
J's Racing 4.77 Final Gear
Spoon ECU
Apexi VAFC (VTEC set at 5800rpm)

The exhaust is a full stainless steel with a titanium tip again. The tip is the same size as the 63mm but the muffler looked a bit bigger with the naked eye and piping was upgraded to 70mm.
The 70mm test pipe is still being made right now, so I'm still using the 63mm test pipe.
The weight of the catback is 21 lbs. I'd guess the testpipe be around 5lbs at the most.
This would be ideal for people who wants the most NA power out of their car without having to go 3inch and sacrificing power if there is any. It has the same amazing craftsmenship as the 63mm T1R.

This exhaust should be available in January 2005 with a price being around $1000 CAD with the test pipe. (It SHOULD come with the silencer also, but it's not been confirmed yet)

Again this is just my opinion, and no I do not work for AJR, I'm also not advertising for them. I'm just trying to let people know on this site that there's an even better exhaust than the 63mm T1R (Judging from the compliments on the 63mm T1R with no negative feedback that I've witnessed so far). I can't help it if people think this is but all comments and questions are welcomed.

(I will get some pics up soon, but from the back, it looks EXACTLY like the 63mm T1R with almost no visual difference, except of the piping size)

Thanx to AJ PwR for lgiving me an opportunity to test out their new exhaust.

Dickson

Oh yea, and my car dyno'd at 203 hp to the wheels last time I went.
The fuel ratio was WAAAAAAAAY off.
But since then, I've added a VAFC and I'll be doing another dyno this Sunday with the 63mm T1R and a 70mm T1R (but with a 63mm test pipe) to see how much power I've gained.

So this exhaust is only a bit heavier than the first T1R exhaust, right?

Ill be anxious to see if the gains are any different from the older version.

Justin - Who will keep the 63mm T1R either way.

i'd really like to see back to back dyno pulls. seeing as how the stock exhaust isn't that much of a restriction anyway, i doubt adding 7mm more diameter to an aftermarket exhaust is going to give much, if any, gains. aside from loudness gains.

the butt dyno hasn't proven to be that reliable when it comes to measuring gains from aftermarket exhausts, especially something as minor as adding a quarter of an inch of pipe diameter.

Thanks DC_AP1 for giving us positive feed backs on the exhaust .Here's some pics for the New T1R Power 70 Exhaust. It also sounded a bit louder over the existing model so @ 4500rpm 87 db.

Thanks
Ben
