Default Fujitsubo Legalis R

I'm starting to get a little tired of my AP2 stock exhaust...sounds is good, the tips are pretty nice, but the black mufflers look kinda bulky......i want that aftermarket look w/a little wait saving and of course a little more sound.....a lot of people seem to be raving about the Fujitsubo Legalis R because of it's throaty yet mild sound.....does anybody have a number in regards to wait saving?? i know it won't be dramatic because it's still stainless.....and is it really the next best thing to the stock exhaust when it comes to the least amount of drone.....oh and one more thing, the tips do stick out more than the stock right??...........thanks in advance

I'm not sure it's "the next best thing" next to the stock exhaust. That's a matter of personal taste. There is no drone. It's a tiny bit louder at low rpm and it really opens up in the mid to high rpm.
Can't tell you how much they weight, but it is considerably less than the stock unit's nearly 50 lbs.
Here's how much they stick out:

Some people say they don't like the Fujitsubo on the AP2. Supposedly the tips look a little too small for the AP2 rear. I love that exhaust though. Have you looked into the Apex'i World Sport 2?

i LOOVVVEEE my fujitsubo, especially comming from a 3' cannon. Extreamly DD friendly, responsive pre vtec, sounds awsome when u let it loose. If u have a look at it,its very similar to the OEM exhaust but better flowing. How it looks is up to u.

does anyone have this in conjunction w/an AEM V2 and test pipe? i just bought a V2 but haven't put it on yet. was planning to get this exhaust and test pipe...but i'm wondering if the AEM will drown out the fujitsubo (heard the AEM was loud)?

Any round 3.5 " tips,will look a little out of place,on an AP-2 rear.
