Talking COMPTECH Differential, 4.57 gears assembled unit!

Long story short this complete unit came out of my 2005 Silverstone unit as the car is ready to be returned to dealer or sold.

I bought a used stock differential to install back on the car so the one I'm selling is complete!

This unit includes: (shows MSRP for comparison purposes only)

1) Comptech 550-040 Reinforced Diff Housing $469
2) 4.57 Gears professionally shimmed (NO NOISE) $579
3) Honda OEM Differential (complete pumpkin) $800+
4) Labor for Installing gears / shimming $525
5) Parts, fluids, freight $100

TOTAL MSRP: $2473, not having to WAIT - P R I C E L E S S

All you have to do is swap this complete unit onto your car and GO GO GO!

This is a pretty heavy unit as can be expected (about 70 lbs) so shipping will be roughly $100 to ship anywhere in the US.

SAVE BIG, my price is ONLY: $1800+ 100 shipping

I can take Paypal and is a confirmed address. Once payment is received I will ship out the unit and get you tracking info via FEDEX.

I'm headed to the shop later today so I can take some pics of the actual unit and also provide you with any documentation you need so please PM me if interested!

regards,
rick

You got them from ricks? Another questions is if it was the 4.57 or 4.57-R?? If you got the gears recently then maybe it the R?

Snapping pics of the complete beautiful differential at lunchtime per request of you guys....stay tuned!

As I've said in PM's to everyone, I will not hold this piece so first one to send me PAYMENT gets the unit.

You are saving HUGE money over doing this yourself not to mention NO DOWN TIME waiting for install while your car is up on the lift. Not to mention the Comptech housing is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

This setup is easily worth over $2500 but I'm only asking $1800 so no low balling please....you guys know what this is worth.

Have you actually weighed it? I'm pretty sure the unit is not 100 lbs. I've shipped a few honda transmissions (d/b series motors) and they only weighed 80 pounds, I don't think a rear diff is heavier.

If you look at my post above I did say 70 lbs, shipping cost $100

Regardless this is one heavy sucka (I must be weak) cuz it feels like one of those salt blocks to me (x2) hahaha

I have it double boxed in an HKS exhaust box so it can be shipped or picked up locally.

how do we know what you say is inside really is in there?

I'm taking my carin to Honda next week, I think I may have a problem w/ my diff (it's been making some strange clicking sounds). If I need a repair or rebuild, i'll be contacting you ASAP.
