Default FS: Comptech Icebox Intake

Location: Lufkin, TX
Price: $250 shipped and insured, OBO - will also trade for a K&N FIPK (plus cash, possibly) or a PRM intake. I will also cover PayPal fees!
Name: Jonathan
Contact: Please PM with offers and/or questions. Will also monitor this thread for questions.

Up for sale is my Comptech Icebox intake. What you see is what you get. No hoses or lines. I do have the little screws for the top carbon cover - I just didn't put them in for the pictures.

A few things I want to mention up front so there are no surprises:

1. The filter is dirty. It's $11 to buy a cleaner kit from Comptech.

2. The carbon fiber cover has a small scuff mark roughly two inches long and maybe a half inch wide - it's right at the high point of the cover, just above the slot for the hood rod. There's a small "dot" scuff right by it. Any other "marks" you see are reflections or whatever. THESE MARKS CAN BUFF OUT - I just haven't done it since I don't want to try using my circular buffer on this.

3. The intake box has been cut to fit an AP1 so it should fit right over whatever protrusions are in any S2000. The back side was apparently cut to fit a strut bar. Both are invisible from the front when the cover is on and the filter is in place.

I'll put you on the "offer" list but as of now, no, I wouldn't.

Trade for an INJEN RS intake w/ AEM bypass valve (prevents hydrolock)? One of the most aggressive sounding intakes, IMO.

I am looking to add fog-lights, and the filter element is in the way of where he wiring would run....

Not right now but I'll keep it in mind if something isn't worked out.

As of right now, I've got one person seriously interested (just working out the details) so I don't think I'll be taking you up on it.

I love the sound of the Injen intake, I just don't want to be cutting my fenderwells and such.

You do not need to remove any of the inner fender... Just two vertical slits, and it will just fold down. When I remove it, I am just going to re-bond the plastic together along the slits with a heatgun and maybe some urethane adhesive.

I'm trying to not cut anything. Too bad, though - that's a very nice intake.

What is it with the "John" and "Jon" in this thread? The other guy I'm working with is a "Johnny" as well.
