FS: 2003 F20C motor - Mint condition
For sale:
-F20C1 Complete motor & transmission
Condition:
-The motor has 21,2XX miles on the clock from my 2003 AP1. It has been well cared for ever since the car left the showroom floor. It has seen 2K oil changes and recently had a valve adjustment done by me. All work and service were performed by me and only me. Motor has NEVER been taken apart besides the installation of a Hondata intake manifold gasket (done by me). Motor has never been abused at all. It has seen a few spirited drives, 2 DE events, and a few autoX's.
Compression test and leak down test have been done prior to when I decomissioned the car. Results will vary with different testers & we are really just looking for consistancy here, but the numbers were:
#1 -225
#2 -225
#3 -223
#4 -224
Leakdown was around 4-5% @ 100PSI starting test pressure. All were performed when the motor was AT operating temperature.
Transmission does not grind, whine, or have any problems at all. Fluids were replaced every 6K miles using either Honda MTF, Redline MT-90, or GM synchromesh.
I can verify the mileage from my ODO reading and VIN#'s. You can run a carfax on the VIN to see the mileage consistency.
Reason for selling:
-As some of you may know, I am in the process of building my S2000 into a race car. I opted to build a motor from the ground up rather than tear apart a mint condition motor. Plus, I know many people are wary of buying used motors from unknown history & condition, so this would be the ticket for anyone looking for a good condition motor.
It would be best to PM me and discuss what you are interested in for me to give you a price. I know many buy used motors because something happened to their old motor and they do not need a tranny or the accessories. This way you do not have to pay extra for stuff you do not need.
Price:
These prices are negotiable depending on what you may or may not want from the setup. Also, if you aren't happy with the prices, make me a reasonable offer.
-Long block alone - $3000.00 SOLD to 1nate7
-Long block w/accessories (intake mani./ header also included) - $3500.00
-Long block w/accessories & transmission (complete) - $4400.00
I AM willing to ship the motor after details have been worked out. Local pick up would be best to ensure that the buyer can see the condition on the motor.
**Will not include engine harness & ECU has been sold**
Pictures:
-These are just quick snap shots I took while I was at the shop. I will be dropping the motor soon so it will be out of the car and I will take better pics. There are absolutely no leaks and the engine is very clean. Just a little dusty from the shop.

References:
I have been a long time member here and have bought/sold many things on here before, so references are available upon request. I am sure many of the Houston folks can vouch for me as well.
Also you can see all who have purchased from me here (scroll down a bit): Past buyers
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to send me a PM and I'll be more than happy to answer them.
