Since it was talked about in the other thread I cut out a qual lap from the last race of the last season at Laguna. Best qual lap was 1:37.4 but the one in the video is a 1:37.9 that I did earlier in the same session. I didn't get video because I ran out space on the CF card.
Below is a plot from my dl-1 showing the differences between the lap on the video and the best lap of the session. Data shows best theoretical at 1:36.8
the DL1 software splits the track into segments and then adds together the lowest time for each segment. For laguna they have 9 segments. I let the software auto-pick them
On the time slip graphs cyan is no time lost with red being the most time lost.
If you look at the first graph I posted the 3rd row is time slip. The bottom of the graph would be best theoretical and as the black or red lines move up the graph I was losing time there.
btw hard to say since I don't have video but its probably likely I passed a car(or two) going into T2 and thats why there was time loss thru that sector.
I usually judge how I did based on how close I'm to the theoretical best. I try to stay w/in a .25 second of it. In this case I failed, but does mean I should have no problem doing :36s with the current setup.

sorry typo haha..i never get that close to my theoretical fast lap! crazy. i'm so inconsistent haha. need more track time!
