And BOY did we ever get soaked!

I have no pictures being a solo driver, but I will try to get Dave and Ken's memory cards tonight to get some pics up.
We are also ordering CDs of the action pictures taken by the tour company and should have those tomorrow so I can post them up as well.

The rest of you missed out! The guides were great, the water was cool, the rapids were fun and quite large, and we all had a great time. People are already talking about wanting to do a big one next year.

Here is just a sampling of the rafting part of our day from Dave and Ken's photos.
I'll let them upload more from the rest of the trip later

Here are some of the pics I took. Jim and I were going to follow the river and get some pics of the group and they headed down the river. The problem was that we were unable to find the river, so no on the river pics of the group from me.

"I am the King!"

E is ready to hit the water.

Hello Marc!

Load up!

Let's go!

Hello again Marc! - the boat was too close to the bank and I had trouble getting a decent pic of the boat.

This I call "boats on the water" an original photograph.

After leaving the river Jim and I explored the High Desert museam. For $13.50 after AAA discount we were able to enjoy air conditioning and some very nice exibits. Outside they had some great exibits as well.

The Otter.

He heard that we have "cute sports cars" and wants to come join us for a drive.

He tries to bribe us with the underwater doughnut - I think it is the otter version of a dog chasing his tail.

After dinner we ran up to the top of Pilot Butte.

A picture of Paul taking a picture.

Aaron even made a call to NASA and got the space station to fly over while we were on the top of the Butte (the star looking object near the center of the picture)

Mt Bach on the way home.

I am so freaking exhausted. I got home about an hour ago, and I feel just whipped. 5 hours of sleep a night just doesnt cut it when you do these long drives!

I'm glad everyone had fun and enjoyed the routes even if it got pretty toasty. We'll have to look more closely at a big raft trip sometime so we can stay cool longer
