I just got a PM from Rob that his dad passed away last night. Many of you have followed Rob's posts about his dad's medical situation. I thought I would create a thread for posting condolences.

Rob, we are saddened to hear of your loss. Please accept our condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rob, I am so sorry to hear this...he seemed finally to be making some progress. Such a shock. Please know that you and Liz and the boys are in my thoughts. Post when you can...

What? I thought he was getting better. I'm so sorry for your loss of your dad, Rob. My mom died suddenly after receiving a clean bill of health from her Dr. so I know what a shock this can be, when it is unexpected, on top of being the loss of a great friend. As hard as this is on you now, I am sure he is feeling great where he is right now. He moved on but your love for him and his for you will assure that you are with him again.
