THAT'S NUTS! I've never seen anything like that. Who's idea was it to keep running with that much water on the track? Can you imagine what would have happened if one of the drivers in a blue Porsche had started to get out when the Corvette came slamming in? HOLY SHIT BALLS! There would have been nothing but a cloud of blood spraying into the air!

I'm not farmiliar with these GT races. Do the cars normally keep running under those kinds of conditions (switching out to rain tires)? Or does that amount of rain stop an event?

I've never seen a race go on with that kind of wet conditions. I did see a Formula 1 race a couple years back where there was a lot of water on the track, but they stopped within a couple laps.

that race should have been stopped with that much rain.... way too dangerous, as the results showed...
that was crazy how like 4 cars just hit the wall one after another
