we tested out the rig again with a new pole, there was much less shake. again we shot with the old XT. next time we will get a better location and use are better camera and lens. need to work on the photoshoping of the rig.

I finally ordered and received my automotive rig. I went out with lordbyron to test it out. It worked ok. I need to get another extension pole tomorrow. The pole I used for this pic was too flexible. The next rig shots I post will be much better. I used my old XT + kit lens just in case we had the rig fail. Next time I will shoot with my 40d and good lens. Also I shot this in jpeg instead of RAW. Overall I think it came out ok, cant wait for version 2.
