Default Chicane/Synchro Color Thread

As I haven't found a Synchro Silver color thread, I'm starting one! Honda only offers one "silver" in Canada, and this is it! I don't normally care for silver on a car, but this one is so much like a "charcoal grey" that I love it. Based on pictures I have seen on the net, Synchro is half way between Sebring and Moonrock. This is a brand new 2009, bought 2 weeks ago. To me the engine sounds are nothing short of intoxicating, the steering is as close as you can get to sublime, the shifter can only be described as amazingly precise. This car is all that I have dreamt of, and a lot more!

Synchro is great I almost repainted my entire car in Synchro but then I figured it was too close to Silverstone (although it is a shade darker with more flake).

Congrats on the purchase and welcome

This *may* look like Silverstone in my photographs, but as DarkSubRosa says, its definitely not Silverstone. I have seen a Silverstone up close, and thats quite a few shades lighter, and has less pearl flakes in it. If you are thinking in shades of grey, then Silverstone would be "light grey", Synchro would be "medium gray" and Moonrock would be "dark grey. Anyway the Synchro Silver colour code is NH-745M. I understand there is also a colour called Chicane Silver. Y'all in the US get a lot more colours; here in Canada we only get the basics - Berlina Black, Formula Red, Indy Yellow Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Synchro Silver Metallic, and Apex Blue Pearl.

Hey ss04, I love the colour of your S - The Ferrari Silverstone. It is such a rich looking silver/grey.
