Wink Happy Day! I got my wheels!

:suprised:

I finally got my first modification for my S! After 4 years of ownership! I am so excited! It's hard to express the excitement of getting the packages in the mail. I'm sure there are a lot of veterans who know what I'm talking about, but this felt like another Christmas a month later. I feel sorry for the Fed Ex guy driving in this weather, but I am sure glad they arrived. I wasn't around to sign for them the last couple days because I was working so I had to postpone delivery till today.

I opened all of them with the Fed Ex guy before signing to make sure there were no significant damages:

Professional packaging:

Everything looked good, so I signed for them.

??? Japanese...

Oooh...fancy wheel covers...

And then....

Let's get them out of that box! And against a black backdrop (I know, professional photography)

Against a red backdrop

Personally inspected by Y. Suzuki...I hope he didn't have a hangover that day. Old, but who cares?? I love them.

Hard to see, but got the quality seal stamp

Unfortunately they won't go on for a couple months because of the weather and the fact I have to get new wider front fenders. But I'll be getting my tax return, and then I'll put them on. I'll probably run 245s all around so hopefully they don't rub in the back. Also, I'll look to get some springs, Swift or Ebiach. I'll update this then!

Oh, and thanks to vividracing.com for the smooth transaction!

Update 3/7

Model 5s are my favorite wheel. I'd love a silver set for my car, but aren't they long out of production? How'd you get them?

Yeah, they are one of my top 5 favorite wheels. Vividracing had them, last set in stock. As you can see on the date, they were made in July 05, so yeah, they are old. The replacement ones are the T5s, but I don't think they look as good.

Also, I would like to weigh them. Fed Ex measured each package at 18 lbs, which would be lighter than stock right?
