If you read the description in the current projects forum, that video is only of the baseline run. I'm not sure why they bothered to put that up since it's just a stock s. It does sound interesting though and I would love to see what power they come up with.

BRPerformance provide the best supercharger kits by a large margin for the Miata and I'm sure they will do the same for the S2000. They are the most helpful when installing one of their kits and after purchase service is great. I bought one of their kits for my car used and they still went way out of when I had a faulty exhaust placed on my car causing me to loose hp. They were able to locate the problem over the phone and now the car runs great. My 2300lb car now has 190hp/165 lb tq at the wheels with their stage 1 kit and could upgrade easily above 230+hp/200lb+ tq with smaller pullies, intercoolers etc. I love the S2000, but now I am spoiled by the power everywhere I have now. This kit would make me switch to the S2000 quicker!

this wouldn't be the first attempt at using a positive displacement blower on the S2000 ......... I've heard it at least 4 different times from 4 different companies (w/ reputations) in the last 4 years and haven't seen much as far as results .............. so don't hold your breaths (or breasts)

The first one I saw on this forum was shortly after I registered here. Not a peep since. Trying to re-invent the wheel (Comptech and Vortech) might not be so easy in this case.

I'll be impressed if they can fit an effective blower with the brake components in the way.

Idea =
Eaton M62 blower =
Whipple/Lysholm blower =
Turbo =

Grand Prix guys have M90 Eaton blowers on their stock engines. Most of the quick guys are switching to turbos or Whipples- the M90's are very inefficient as are all roots style blowers. It's a great sounding project, but I hate the idea of a very inefficient blower on a highly efficient engine. The extra low end torque should really pick up the engine though.
