Default Best Way to Make 300 RWHP & 220FTLB TQ

I almost pulled the trigger on a Greedy kit today but I am not sure I will be happy with the reliability and power. For a car that is primarily street driven and ocasionally tracked, what would you recomend? The only thing I do not want is an FMU after that I am failry open.

an aftercooled supercharger kit will get you those numbers very very easily. you wont have to make any massive changes either. you can easily hit 300 to the wheels on stock injectors and stock headgasket, without any more tuning than a VAFC (if even that!)

if you do not like the idea of having an FMU there are definitely ways around that. you could very easily step up your injectors one size (for safety) and use an adjustable FPR regulator instead and tune whatever fuel out with a vafc. personally i see nothing wrong with the stock SC setups.

put it this way - i have a CTSC that is NOT aftercooled. i made 290whp and 170 ft/lb of torque. thats on a stock pulley and on no tuning at all - all on safe a/f ratios.

there are plenty of greddy kit owners that are near those numbers. and it is carb legal, Having the kit myself, and driving an SC s2k I can say it is more fun overall because of the low-end power. After my next tune (with my new exhaust) I will prob be right around 300 whp and 230 ft/lb tq.

Both setups are amazing for though and either way you will be very happy.

For those numbers, I'd recommend a CTSC before a turbo kit. IMO, it's more reliable and less maintanace in the long run.

According to your post the Greddy kit sounds perfect.

It's a mild boost set up with non-FMU fuel management.

Sounds like exactly what you are asking for.

I would buy a screw over the turbo or centrifugal, but where do I find one? I love the reliability and low end power the screw provides, this would be a perfect match for my wants.
