*RIP* Dreamcation BBQ Meet-Let's show some love..

As many of us may know, Travis Hunt aka (DREAMCATION) lost his life late Sunday Evening. As a dedicated husband, a father of 2, Travis's death has made a servere impact on the Socal Community. Not only was he all the above, a moderator of s2ki.com, but a friend of many on this forum. His UNSELFISHNESS to host meets and events, tech days, and dent days, was a valuable asset to our community. His love for the S2000, the members, and the people, was stronger than anything I've known.

Tragically, his death has become a burden on us, and especially his wife and 2 kids. As my duty of a CO, and more importantly as a friend, I call to the S2ki.com community to help me celebrate his life, and send him away.

With the aide of Piercey Automotives, Ryan of Eibach, Greg/Duc of Spugen, we are going to Organize a Fundraising Donation BBQ meet for his wife Wendy Hunt and their children.

Dreamcation BBQ Meet will join forces with the Eibach meet. The Eibach meet officially starts at 10AM in the morning. Ryan has granted us permission to host our "private" event 2 hours before everyone arrives. Here is how everything will work,

Date: Sunday May 7th
Meet: 250 Commerce, Irvine Ca 92602
Time: 6:15 Sharp, depart 6:30 Sharp
Final Destination: Eibach

Travis would like us to CARAVAN. (I know this for a fact. Let's Honor it)

Wendy and her children will arrive at 8:25 in the morning with RhinoS2k. She will bring Travis's Ashes with her, where we can say our goodbyes.

At the event, we will kindly ask for donations to help Wendy and her children in a difficult time of needs.

Eibach will provide free food.
Matt Piercy will donate 150 limited edition Dreamcation Tshirts.
Back-Cracker (Myself) will donate 1.00 to every S2ki.com member that shows up to this event in the morning. If you bring yourself and a friend, I'll donate 2.00. If we get 500 people, I'll donate 500.00.

At the event, volunteers will sell these limited editions shirts @ 20.00 a shirt. Please support us, by purchasing a shirt. If you are in a financial bind, you can donate what you can, in a jug provided next the flowers that we have made for Travis. 5.00, 10.00, 20.00 or more, any donations will be of great help. PLEASE BE Generous, their family really needs help, even if you can't donate, please come and join us. Even if you do not know Travis personally, come and see what kind of person he was, and help us with a prayer.

I do understand that some people do not want to attend the Eibach Meet, so at 10AM, you may depart or stay for the rest of the event.

For the sake of the Hunt's family, lets show our love by waking up early and attending this event. For those who has already signed up for the Eibach Event, please re-sign up on this thread so we have a firm Head count.

If you are going to donate, you may bring cash or write a check. If your write a check, please make it out to Wendy Hunt, and place a Screensname on the MEMO section of the check.
[ADDED BY WEBDIVA(SAMIRA) - Please check with your employers charitable matching programs! For example, when I donate $200, my employer Teleflora will donate $100! This could be a great opportunity to increase our amount of help to Wendy! ]
